My name is Marnix Oosterwelder, industrial designer and concept developer. After studying at the Design Academy Eindhoven, where I graduated Cum Laude in Industrial Design in 1997, I gained experience at various design studios, including 11 years at Van Berlo.
In 2013, I started my own design studio, Rake Lijnen, to bring more autonomy and authenticity to my work. In this, I combined my flexibility as a self-employed person with a strong network of professionals, with whom I can realise tailor-made projects. Sometimes I work independently, other times I support teams or hire expertise
My work is characterised by the balance between industrial design projects, concept development and idealistically driven assignments. This mix keeps me creative and sharp, and offers inspiration where the different areas of work intersect. Working for companies in various sectors, as well as for individuals and organisations, I keep renewing and adapting constantly.
