A good way to assess whether a new collaboration is a good fit for both parties is to start with an initial scoping session. This can provide the foundation for a longer-term collaboration.

For an initial meeting, I prefer to visit prospective clients at their location. This allows us to get to know each other while also gaining a first-hand understanding of the organisation, its context and the challenge at hand.
During the session, we explore the client’s ambition, challenge or need, identify the key considerations and possible directions, and discuss where OID could contribute most effectively.

Depending on the nature and scale of the potential collaboration, I may offer this first session as an investment in exploring the opportunity together.

I will summarise the outcome in clear insights and, where relevant, a concrete proposal covering approach, scope and next steps. This creates immediate value and provides a solid basis for deciding whether there is a strong foundation for further collaboration.
